A friend of mine offered to do some newborn pictures of Charlie and she did a great job!  Here are a few of the best.  Isn't he the cutest?

Daddy's Favorite

I don't think there has ever been a cuter daddy than this guy.  He is so smitten with this little guy, it just makes me smile to think  about.  Every day when Jared gets home from work, he has to have Daddy/Charlie snuggle time. It's the cutest.

When we brought him home from the hospital, Jared spent several hours just laying next to him, talking to him and telling him all about life.

I texted this picture to Daddy at work one day, and he wanted to know how I got him to flex!  Daddy's so proud of his tough guy!

Jared will probably be very embarrassed about this post, but I think Charlie will like knowing how his dad feels about him!

Welcome Charlie!

December 27th, 2011 was a day to remember!  Our sweet little Charlie was born at 2:20 p.m. at the American Fork Hospital.  Here he is weighing in at 7 lbs. 3 oz., and 20 inches long.

Here are the first few moments with Mom.  We got to be there at the hospital when he was born!

Placement day was two days later.  It was bittersweet, as we were sad for our sweet birthmother, who we love, but we were so happy to begin our family.

Here's our first family photo!  Jared said on the way home that it was the happiest he's ever been in his life!  This sweet little baby has brought us indescribable joy!

When we got home from the hospital my mom had decorated the house with balloons and banners.  It was so fun!

This cute reindeer outfit was a gift from Charlie's birth mother.  She will always be so dear to us.
