3 Months!

Charlie is 3 months old today!  We feel so blessed to have this precious little guy in our lives.  He makes us smile every time we look at him.  Here are a few more favorite pictures.
He loves to sleep with his arms above his head.  He's usually smacking himself in the face the whole time!  (His hands are always cold, hence the sock mittens!)

Here he was all dressed in green for our St. Patrick's day celebration.  He was really excited!
My two favorite boys all ready for church!
Since we're finally starting to get some nice days here and there, we broke out the stroller and went for a walk.  Again, very excited! ;)
He's just starting to laugh.  They're few and far between, but it's the cutest thing in the whole world.  He laughed a couple of times before I busted out the camera, and then all I got was a few half laughs.  He was over it halfway through this clip!  Still cute though.
I have to leave before Jared every morning, so he gets Charlie ready and takes him to the babysitter.  He usually takes a cute picture and texts it to me in the morning.  Here's one of my favorites.
Charlie had his 2 mo. doctor's visit last month.  He is doing well.
Stats:  Weight: 11.57 lb. (38th %ile-  He was only in the 16th %ile at his last visit, so he's gaining well!)
             Height: 23 inches (54th %ile)
He smiles a lot.  He loves to stare at Mom and Dad and give us lots of smiles.

Big news:  Jared and I have come to the decision that I am going to quit my job at the end of this school year and stay home with Charlie!  It is going to take some serious adjusting, but I am so excited and I know it's the right thing.  I can't wait to spend every day with this little boy!

  3. People always tell me how lucky I am to be able to stay home with my kids. It kind of bugs me though because it has nothing to do with luck. It is a decision to do what is best for your family. It means going without fancy cars, clothes, shopping at garage sales, and living on a very tight budget. But I wouldn't change it for the world. I love being home with my kids. You will never regret your decision to stay home with Charlie. He is a cutie. Good luck!
